Strange cat behavior almost seems normal to cats sometimes. They seem to love to sit on the oddest things and the weirdest locations. Things that do not seem very comfortable they love to do. Many people worry about their cat’s strange behavior, but let’s face it, we don’t really know what “normal cat behavior” is….
People worry a lot about their cats, and for good reason. They love them and think of them often as their children. So when they act in a way we are not accustomed too we get worried. Here are the top 10 strange cat behaviors I have heard of.
1. Some people’s cats love to watch them shower. Why I don’t know, maybe they are voyeuristic.
2. Licking people’s ear lobes is another strange one. Maybe these people should clean their ears more.
3. A few cats will only drink out of faucets and not out of the water bowl. You can tell who is in charge of this household.
4. A few people say their cats meow at the walls or into space. I think some cats can see into another dimension, or maybe they are just not that bright.
5. Some cat’s love to drag socks around. These guys would really slow down laundry day.
6. Many cats seem to love the smell of shoes and will sit on top of them or try to crawl inside of them. These are the same cats that will then like their owner’s face.
7. Kneeding pillows is another one. While this is normal, kneeding everything in site is not. Some cats will even kneed their owners.
8. Darting from room to room is another strange behavior. Cats seem very amused just by running in and out of rooms.
9. Taking advantage of the weaker spouse. Many cats will only do things when the wife is around. But while the husband is around many are much quieter.
10. Many cats love to play fetch. Throwing a little toy, they’ll pick it up and return it to you again and again.
