Quick Course in Cat Behavior Training
Cats are great pets, and in my opinion much better than dogs. Not only are they smarter, but they are much easier to care for. But sometimes things go wrong. Cat Behavior problems are a common reason why people take their cats to the vet. With some basic cat training you can avoid this.
Spay Them
Many cat behavior problems happen because people do not have their cat spayed or neutered. Aggression and urine spraying are seen more frequently in cats that are not spayed or neutered. If you have a cat behavior problem, this is the first area to examine.
Entertain Them
Give them toys to play with and an ever changing environment in which to live. Cats need to be entertained and can get bored easily which can lead them getting into trouble. When they have other things to do besides biting your toe, they will stop it.
Keep Them Clean
Regular cleaning of the litter box can go a long ways in making sure the litter box is clean. Litter box problems are often caused by dirty litter boxes. Keeping your litter box nice and tidy can help keep your cat happy.
Keep Them Active
Give your cats lots of exercise to keep them going and to use of excessive energy. Cats with excessive energy often develop behavior problems. Just playing with them fifteen minutes a day or so can go along ways in keep them out of trouble. You can also try other techniques found here: Problem Cat Behaviors
