My Cat Wants To Sleep On My Pillow And Head!
Sometimes cats, when you first get them, seem to be obsessed with trying to sleep by your face or on it even! Why do these young cats do this and keep us up all night?
First of all, one way to stop this is to try and tire them out before bedtime. So instead of you watching TV right before bed, make your cat run around and play and chase toys. This will get them tired out and wil hopefully give you a better night’s sleep.
Another trick to try is to feed the cat right before bed time as well. Again, a cat with a nice fully belly is less likely to want to actively sleep on your face.
You may go through a week or so of sleepless nights when you first get a cat, but eventually they stop wanting to sleep by your head.
Oh, and if you thing locking them outside the bedroom will work, think again. You will only have the cat sit outside your door and whine, whine, and whine, until you can no longer take it and you finally have to give in to their racket.
So use the tips and get your new cat fed and exercised before you go to bed, and you should be able to get some shut eye, instead fighting your cat for the pillow.
